Samanthas Road Trip

Hi everyone!

In my holidays I went on a road trip to Waitomo, Taupo, Mt Maunganui and Tauranga.

In Waitomo I went to the Ruakuri caves and saw the glowworms and the stalagmites and the stalactites. They grow one centimetre every 100 years! They were amazing!

In Taumarunaui I did the forgotten world railway carts which is a tour along some unused and forgotten railway lines.

In Taupo I  went to see Huka Falls and I stayed at Taupo Debretts. It is a large waterfall which has 200 000 litres come out every second. Where we stayed had a natural hot springs, which they empty and refill every night. There was also some water slides which were fun!

In Mt Maunganui I stayed near the beach. For the last 3 days I was at the beach playing. And after the beach wed go for a walk to get gelato!
