Kampung Kids X factor

Team 5, we are AWESOME. Through all our orgaisation of the X Factor, we managed to raise close to $800 for Kampung Kids in Jakarta. Here are some photos of the finalists. A big congratulations to Emma who did a spectacular job playing her violin.

Also the Room 5 hosts (Bodhi, Keeley, Steven, Vera, Isabelle and Luke) and tech supporters (Joseph and Clyde) were AMAZING and made the show run so smoothly.

GO US!

What an AWESOME Arts week

Room 5 have enjoyed Arts week. We started the week off Dancing, then doing Drama activities, followed by arts and crafts making Worry Dolls.

We also spent lots of time working on our Koru Art for Arts week. They are coming along quite nicely. Here are some sneak peeks.

The Buddhist temple

What an awesome day at the Buddhist temple, learning about the 3Gs and 4Gs.

Think good thoughts, say good words, do good deeds.
Give others confidence, give others joy, give others hope, give others convenience.

Have you used your 3Gs or 4Gs recently? Leave a comment and let us know how...

Sport coaching with Y12 students

This morning some Year 12 students from Saint Kentigerns College took Room 5 for some Sports Games. This was part of their Leadership and Coaching assessment. We had lots of fun playing new games and learning new skills. At first we found it a bit difficult, but by the end we were getting pretty good!

Extra! Extra! Read all about Room 5

Look at some of the awesome work done by Room 5 Superkids. Miss R has enjoyed reading your pages and learning more about you all. These will look great hanging up in the classroom. To see the rest, come in to Room 5.

A Big Giant Thank you!

Thank you to all our awesome parent helpers last week who came to support us during our EOTC days. Without you we would not have been able to have so much fun having new experiences and getting out of our comfort zones. You guys are the best! From Miss R and Room 5

Keeley's camping trip

Hi room 5
For my hoildays I went camping at Waikawau Bay with my family and many others.
Waikawau Bay is in the Coromandel four hours away from Auckland.
I did some musselling with my family and friends. We caught many mussels!
Last year my cousin Holly who is normally at camp with us was away in France, on an exchange.
We had other people come to camp. Thier names are Milly ,Heidi and Max Stewart.
